Tim began painting in 1972, but did not have the opportunity to concentrate on it full-time until retiring from business in 2002. His training has included courses at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. While his initial medium was watercolor and Chinese Brush, he has recently worked in acrylics and oils. His subjects include landscapes, portraits and still life. Many of his landscapes display his love of the Adirondack Mountains. The Chinese Brush Paintings feature landscapes and florals from Mainland China.

Tim was born in Buffalo, NY and received a BA from Hamilton College. His business life ultimately led him to NYC. He and his wife, Judy, are residents of Vero Beach, Florida and also have a home in Bolton Landing, NY. In both locations he has been able to share his love of art by teaching children in various camps and clubs.

His work has been shown in galleries and at events both in New Jersey and New York and his paintings are held in private and corporate collections.
